UKC Group launches Blore Edwards Precision and commences Potentiometer Manufacturing in the UK
April 2025, UKC Group launches new business Blore Edwards Precision, commencing manufacture of the full series of Colvern Potentiometers and Rotary Switches following the acquisition of all assets, tooling, and commercial rights to manufacture defence and industrial product lines from Blore Edwards Ltd .
UKC Group specialises in stocking, manufacturing, and providing reverse engineering and repair solutions for hard-to-find, obsolete, and legacy components, with expertise across the Electronics, Avionic, Radar, Industrial, and Commercial sectors.
The Colvern range of products are used in applications for variable resistance control, within both Defence and Energy sectors, ranging from level controls in platform public address and alarm systems to position sensing in industrial machinery.
All existing orders for Colvern products will continue to be fulfilled by Blore Edwards as normal. However, starting April 2025, all new orders and product enquiries for these product lines should be directed to UKC Groups new entity.

Production of the Colvern product line will be carried out at UKC Groups Engineering facility in Chelmsford, Essex by a team of electronics engineers with collective decades of experience.
This acquisition is further evidence of the UKC Group’s mission to preserve and provide access to our rich technological heritage while investing in the future of UK manufacturing.
During 2025, UKC Group plans to further expand its legacy component manufacturing capabilities adding additional product lines via strategic asset acquisitions.
This marks UKC Group’s third recent manufacturing acquisition, following the successful acquisitions of Electropak Ltd in 2024 and Linear Precision Engineers Ltd in March 2025.
