Pete Lambert, UKC Group Commercial Director, recently attended the highly informative and inspiring JOSCAR LIVE at Farnborough Exhibition Centre, where we had the opportunity to network with key representatives from the MOD, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, Ultra Maritime, MBDA, ADS, MAKE.UK and other members of the UK Defence community. Engaging in insightful discussions, we highlighted our innovative obsolescence solutions for the Defence sector.

As UKC Group continues to grow, we are excited to become an active member of the JOSCAR community. It’s encouraging to see how the defence community is embracing innovation, champions change, and supports engineering apprenticeships within the Defence sector. The event also fostered collaboration between key players, reinforcing the commitment to improving supply chain transparency and operational excellence.

A key takeaway from the event was the growing alignment between defence and global environmental challenges. Recognizing the importance of this, UKC Group is set to review its ESG strategy and commitments in Q4 2024, with plans to join the JOSCAR ESG Analysis programme and support the transition to a circular economy. The defence sector’s role in addressing climate concerns is more critical than ever, and we’re eager to contribute meaningfully to these efforts.

We look forward to supporting this event in the future and are already planning to return with a larger team in 2025. This event will remain a key milestone for our business as we continue building partnerships and pursuing growth in the Defence sector.
