Defence Support International Ltd (DSI) engages in the daily supply of spare parts and the project management of repair activities on behalf of its customers, primarily serving the UK Royal Navy either directly via Abbey Wood or through BAE Systems Surface Ships Ltd (formerly VT, Vosper Thornycroft). As a JOSCAR-approved supplier for BAE Systems (JOSCAR ID 10006894) DSI supports various Royal Navy vessel classes including QEC Carriers, Type 45 Destroyers, Type 23 Frigates, and Hunt Class Mine Countermeasure vessels, as well as the Saudi Arabian Sandown Single Role Mine Hunters (SRMH).
Additionally, DSI has a four-year framework agreement to support the Estonian Navy’s ex-Royal Navy Sandown (SRMH) providing spares and managing repairs. International naval clients include Brazil, Chile, France, Italy, Lithuania, Pakistan and the Ukraine. Domestically DSI clients included the British Army via Donnington and Babcock International Group.

The company holds ISO 9001:2015 certification, and staff are trained in IATA hazardous goods packaging allowing DSI to offer repackaging services to any primary packaged quantity and can provide barcoding for packages as needed.
Defence Support International manufactures and distributes IMAS Compliant, NATO approved minefield clearance equipment and lightweight perimeter marking kits, for EOD specialists to identify and isolate concealed threats.
