In August 1946, BRITISH SAROZAL LTD (BSL) was established as an export distributor for General Motors Lease Lend vehicles and ancillary equipment that remained in the U.K. after the war. The company experienced rapid growth and, starting in 1949, shifted its focus to communications and radar equipment to international buyers.

BSL achieved BS 5750 certification, which was initially oriented towards general manufacturing, and later transitioned to the International Standard of ISO 9000. Over the years, BSL Express Spares has continued to expand, amassing extensive stock and developing significant technical and commercial expertise.
